Once planning permission had been granted on 31 January 1911, construction of the villa at Tiergar- tenstrasse 50 forged ahead. Alignment lines for the building were pegged out on 11 March 1911. On 5 May 1911, the architects Lossow& Kühne applied to the Planning Authority to proceed with inspect- ing and authorizing the building’s foundation engineering, the first of three inspections stipulat- ed by the Building Code of 1906. On 10 July, the developers applied for the above-ground bare structure to be inspected and approved.
